James Mollison

James Mollison’s photography is stunning, deep, and highly communicative. While each piece is interesting on its own, the compilation of photos within each collection provide context and create supremely rich and dynamic stories.

Where Children Sleep, is a portrait series of children around the world and their bedrooms. Guns in The West Bank, Guns in Kentucky USA…kids are badass.

The Disciples, is an elaborate portrait series of fans outside of different concerts, my favourites are Oasis and The Casualties.

Project Apes, is a close-up, head-shot series of Apes, organized by colour and appearance. Gregorie and Inge are my favourite.

The Memory of Pablo Escobar, more like a research project into the living memory of “the richest and most violent gangster in history”, but of course, photographs are apart of living memory.
